Small Farms

Doesn’t that make spring seem like it is just around the corner?  At least it does for me and all of the planning that goes into creating a garden for my family and for selling produce.  In no time at all I’ll be getting my seedlings started inside my mini-greenhouse that I set up indoors.  In New York, it is always a good idea to start plants indoors because of our short growing season.

If you’d like to find some unusual seeds or you simply have too many seeds from the past year, consider doing a seed swap.  Set up one at your local library or community center.  If you can’t locate a swap, you can swap seeds online!  Check out the Farmer’s Almanac website and click on the Garden tab.  List what you want or what you want to swap here for a fantastic garden this spring!
